Set in a beautiful valley at the heart of a 90-acre farm. Dunmuck lies on the Colvend Coast, a National Scenic Area in southwest Scotland.
Outside, immerse yourselves in the natural world - roam fields, woods and hills. Paddle or fish on the lochans or take a bracing shore walk. Bravely dip in the burn after a bounce on the trampoline or a game on the community tennis courts. In winter, light the outdoor bath, sink into hot bubbles and count the stars in Galloway’s dark night skies.
Dunmuck translates into ‘hill of wild pig’ but the array of wildlife stretches beyond the elusive boar, with the Mersehead RSPB reserve 5mins away. Deer bob through the woods, geese and ducks roost on the Loveheart pond and busy red squirrels bounce along stonewall dykes. Simply close your eyes and relax in the garden to the music of birdsong and flowing water. With energy restored or children full of beans, explore our beautiful area with so much to see and do (see activities page).
